Mānawa Mai 2026
Mānawa Mai is the University of Auckland’s largest school-leaver recruitment offering, comprising of an online Info Evening and an in-person Open Day, attracting over 10,000 attendees. I led the design from concept through to execution, overseeing all touchpoints including print, digital campaign materials, and event collateral.
The creative concept revolves around the idea of “The Awakening Moment,” representing the spark of the next chapter, a theme that resonates with a students university journey. The colour palette of pink and blue hues reinforces inspiration and the awakening of the mind, inviting future students to explore, question, and discover the resources that will help them reach their potential. The photography style, featuring students’ faces illuminated in these colours strengthens the concept while building recognition and differentiation within the competitive school-leaver recruitment landscape.
My role was also to align the wider design team for which I created a design toolkit to ensure consistency across all materials, delivering a cohesive, recognisable, and engaging experience across every touchpoint.
Led the creative direction and end-to-end design of University of Auckland's largest recruitment offering experienced by over 10,000 attendees.
